Ian McRobie

Ian is responsible for the design, analysis and administration of a variety of projects including energy, commercial, institutional, transit and industrial projects. A skilled project manager facilitating relationships on multi-disciplinary teams, Ian excels at exploring the most energy efficient and cost-effective design features, whether the project is an existing building or a new facility. His technical skills include sizing air handlers, designing mechanical ventilation systems, Direct Digital Control system design, heating hot water and chilled water system and plumbing design.

Ian is a long-standing member of HH Angus’ Sustainability Committee, which has been responsible for numerous energy-saving measures at the firm, along with waste reduction and green product initiatives. He oversaw the firm’s LEED CI certification of its head office building and is also a member of the Canadian Green Building Council Technical Advisory Group on Energy and Engineering. Ian joined HH Angus in 2010.

In his free time, Ian enjoys the BC mountains and ocean with his family.
