The design uses key features, such as Quality of Service (QoS), Power over Ethernet (PoE), dual system components, dual uplinks and Multicast at the Access Level and Layer 3 Switching/Routing, redundancy at the cores, encryption and Multicast routing at the Distribution and Core Levels.
