Anna Chan
P.Eng., ing., LEED® AP BD+C, Principal
Senior Manager, Health
“I believe it is important to recognize and celebrate each person’s unique talents and abilities; to apply these where they best suit a given project; and to encourage learning or working on new challenges that may be outside one’s comfort zone once in a while.”
Anna manages a team working on a wide variety of projects for both private industry and government agencies. Her responsibilities include mechanical design, specification documentation and project management for diverse projects, from mission critical data centres and North America’s largest healthcare P3 (CHUM in Montreal), to Toronto’s largest ever infrastructure project (the Eglinton Crosstown LRT). Since joining HH Angus in 1988, Anna has had the opportunity to work on various project execution models, from the traditional design-bid-build to design-build to construction management to Public Private Partnerships (P3) .
On a recent vacation, Anna was inspired to begin a quilting project, a long-held goal. She enjoys creating patterns and developing the design details, while knowing she has the luxury of working on a block at a time.
