Paul Seager
P.Eng.,. FEC, Principal
Vice President, Engineering
“A complex project will only get as complicated as you allow it to become. To paraphrase a Hollywood blockbuster film: “Just because we think we can, we have to consider, is it actually necessary?”
Paul is responsible for the firm’s professional practice and engineering standards, legal, and quality improvement measures. With over 30 years of practice experience in Canada, the UK and China, and spanning project conceptualization to commissioning, Paul’s current focus is on engaging staff to improve both the services we provide and how we provide them. He also serves as a Knowledge Trust advisor across the firm.
Aside from renovating his home (a continuous state of affairs, some might think), Paul’s idea of fun is pointing out problems with codes and standards in our industry. So, he is now Chair of the Technical Committees of CSA B138, CSA B139 and a voting member of CSA B149.1, all in the area of fuel safety.
