Russell is a mechanical manager with nearly a decade of experience delivering healthcare and commercial projects. His expertise spans the project lifecycle from design through construction administration, with extensive on-site involvement to ensure quality and continuity. He has managed acute care redevelopments and major hospital retrofits, often within occupied healthcare environments. He is experienced in competitive Design/Build pursuits and projects working directly with health authorities. Russell’s approach emphasizes clear communication, stakeholder coordination, and sustainable design, making him well-suited to complex hospital projects. A natural leader, he is committed to fostering a collaborative and enjoyable environment for the entire team. Russell’s project portfolio includes Lions Gate Hospital Acute Care Facility, Royal Columbian Hospital Phase 3, St. Vincent’s Langara Hospital Plant Carbon Reduction, UBC NCE Laboratory Upgrade and Gilmore Place Phase 1.
Russell promotes a healthy work life balance and takes pleasure in enjoying many of the great activities available in Vancouver. Weekends often find him in the mountains backpacking and fly fishing, as well as biking around the city, attending live concerts, and taking in movies.
