We have many examples of continuous learning for both new graduates and experienced professionals. New graduates are provided with a thorough training from technical to soft skills, to project planning and mentorship programs. We have a dedicated Learning & Development Committee that meets consistently to look at what programs we can implement and new ways of continually developing our staff. We cover the cost of approved professional associations and consistently have lunch and learns in office that employees are highly encouraged to attend.
The social network
Not ‘that’ social network. We’re talking about a real social network where we really enjoy doing a variety of activities together. Fitness (yoga, running, golf, soccer, hockey, basketball, cycling, volleyball, skiing), public speaking (we have our own corporate Toastmasters chapter), company social events and more – we work hard and play hard together.
Engaged in our communities
We’re big believers in contributing to the communities in which we work and live. We are involved in a number of charitable events including the WWF CN Tower walk, Denim Day in support of the CURE foundation, Heatwave volleyball tournament for Sick Kids and basketball for West Park Charitable foundation.
We encourage all our employees to explore their ideas and challenge conventional approaches to solve our clients’ challenges. We also embrace emerging technologies and processes such as virtual reality, digital twinning, 3D image scanning, and parametric energy modeling. We also launched our Innovation Hub to source ideas from our staff so we can explore, refine and implement them into our workflow to improve project outcomes.
